The Audi Q8 TFSIe Quattro duo was launched in Europe.
The latest plug-in hybrid variant of the Audi Q8 is 455 hp and can travel up to 47 km electrically.
Audi has just announced two new versions of the Q8 55 TFSIe Quattro and 60 TFSIe Quattro. Both use Audi 3.0L TFSI V6 engine combined with an electric motor. Vehicles equipped with 8-speed automatic transmission.
The German automaker has now pre-ordered the Q8 55 TFSIe Quattro and 60 TFSIe Quattro with prices starting from $ 88,609 in the European market.
The Q8 55 TFSIe Quattro produces 375 hp and 600 Nm, while the Q8 60 TFSIe Quattro produces 455 hp and 700 Nm.
Both new Audi plug-in hybrid models reach speeds of up to 135 km / h in electric mode, and 240 km / h in normal driving mode. The Q8 55 TFSIe Quattro and 60 TFSIe Quattro accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 5.8 seconds and 5.4 seconds, respectively.
The hybrid system in the vehicle has a 17.8 kWh lithium-ion battery that is liquid cooled and placed under the luggage compartment.
In addition to the three driving modes EV, Hybrid and Auto, two new Audi Q8 TFSIe models also have a Hold mode to optimize the charging time. It takes 2.5 hours to fully charge a 7.4 kW battery.
