Suzuki Hayabusa 2022 has officially revealed a new sportier and more aerodynamic look. However, the manufacturer has not disclosed the selling price.
Suzuki Hayabusa 2022 has changed its appearance completely compared to the previous two generations. Aerodynamics played a more important role in the third-generation Hayabusa, which Suzuki claims has one of the best drag coefficients on any street motorcycle.
The design of the Hayabusa 2022 changes from the curves and bulges of the previous models, straight and sharper than before. Suzuki’s Ram Air Direct (SRAD) duct system still has outstanding features, the two sides are DRL LEDs, integrated turn signals and the whole system is tied together by a completely new dual aluminum alloy frame.
The engine still comes from a liquid-cooled, inline 4-cylinder, with a capacity of 1,340 cc, normally aspirated. The engine volume has been reduced, the connecting rods and pistons have been more powerful along with the corresponding increase in torque.
A quick shifter is now standard, with drivers having a choice between racing or normal clutching.
Ride-by-wire offers a full suite of driver assistance tools including traction control, wheel lift control, engine brakes and driving modes, along with semi-electronic suspension. , known as Suzuki Intelligent Ride Systems (SIRS).
The six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) delivers data to the ECU and keeps things stable. The braking system for the Hayabusa 2022 is done with a four-piston Brembo Stylema four-piston brake with floating disc 320 mm in diameter.
There are three color options for the Suzuki Hayabusa 2022: Glass Sparkle Black & Candy Burnt Gold, Metallic Matte Sword Silver & Candy Daring Red and Pearl Brilliant White & Metallic Matte Stellar Blue.
Expected to see Hayabusa 2022 enter the market by the end of 2021
