The upgraded Bentayga Hybrid was introduced by Bentley after its V8 brother launched five months ago.
As for the powertrain, the new Bentayga Hybrid uses an existing 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine paired with an electric motor (integrated into the transmission). The total power of the system remains unchanged at 449 PS and 700 Nm of torque, but the engine is still capable of pushing the 3-ton “giant” accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in about 5.5 seconds.
Like before, the 17.3 kWh lithium-ion battery provides a pure electric range of up to 50 km. Bentley claims the combined range is around 862 km, while the electric motor can only travel at speeds up to 135 km / h. The car also has a required speakerphone to alert pedestrians of its presence when driving in full EV mode.
In terms of charging time, the automaker says the battery can be fully charged in 2.5 hours and the maximum charging speed is 7.2 kW. No DC charging information has been announced.

Other gadgets include a 10.9-inch touchscreen display with anti-reflective and anti-glare coating, wireless Apple CarPlay support, and Android Auto. Smartphone mirroring is also available, but this requires a wired connection to a dedicated USB-C socket.
Bentley hasn’t mentioned the safety system on the new Bentayga Hybrid, but hopes the car will have everything that has been offered before, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Traffic Assist, Sea Identification. Traffic alerts, Parking Assist, Electronic Night Vision and overhead display.
