BMW has tuned to optimize the engine of the BMW M5 Competition Sedan. As a result, the car is increased to 617 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. The BMW M5 Competition Sedan also has a wider torque range of 170 rpm, 553 ft-lbs. The rpm achieved is 1,800 – 5,860 rpm.
The engine of the BMW M5 Competition Sedan has two turbochargers. Fuel injection system is direct injection. BMW also upgraded the cooling and oil supply system on the BMW M5 Competition Sedan. BMW hasn’t forgotten about its continuous improvement in the cooling system from water to air. This cooling system reduces the temperature of the inlet air, thereby improving capacity.
