A month ago, Chevrolet quietly released an update for the 2021 Corvette, but until today it has revealed more about the price of the options as well as the configuration of the second version of the Corvette C8.
Despite the detailed configuration and price, the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette is still a long way from being delivered to the customer. Specifically, the waiting time will last up to 18 months due to the adverse effects of the coronavirus pandemic, causing a shortage of workers in factories.
For the 2021 model year, Chevrolet Corvette is adding two new exterior colors, Silver Flare Metallic and Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat – this pair will replace similar colors of the old model. In it, the Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat is an option priced at $ 995.
The Stinger Stripe trim option now costs $ 500, including three new colors, Carbon Flash / Edge Red, Carbon Flash / Edge Yellow and Carbon Flash / Midnight Silver. For full-body stripes, Chevrolet offers Blue, Orange, Red, and Yellow options, each priced at $ 995.
The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette’s interior also gets a few more changes, including the new Sky Cool Gray / Yellow Strike interior color and the infotainment system now with wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto support as standard.
Safety Features Buckle To Drive will also be standard for 2021 Chevrolet Corvette, this system will not allow the car to move from the parking lot if the driver has not tied the seat belt after more than 20 seconds.
In addition, customers can order the Magnetic Selective Ride Control magnetic suspension feature individually without having to purchase the Z51 package. This feature will cost the owner an extra USD1,895.
