Ford Australia has decided to bring the Wildtrak 2021 back to the new year.
After the success of the Ranger Wildtrak X 2020, Ford Australia decided to bring the 2021 Wildtrak back to the new year, with exterior and interior improvements different from the regular Ranger Wildtrak.
Based on the Ranger 4 × 4 Wildtrak, the Wildtrak X is available with two powertrains: a 3.2-liter engine mated to a six-speed automatic and a 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine with a 10-speed automatic. . Starting prices are AU $ 66,490 and AU $ 67,990, respectively.
The 2021 model receives an updated styling that includes a grille, wheel arches, side steps, roof rails, black bumper and mirror cover, unique 18-inch alloy wheels and LED light bar. The change also includes Saber color accents and Black Ebony accents on the outside instead of Bolder Gray.
Inside the cabin are leather seats, Wildtrak orange stitching, Saber orange details and lighting panels. The 8.0-inch SYNC3 infotainment system with smartphone integration, satellite navigation, reverse camera and voice control is standard. The vehicle also has a FordPass Connect smartphone app that allows the driver to operate the vehicle remotely.
Ford Ranger Wildtrak X is equipped with Driver Assistance technology including: automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, downhill control, hill start assist, electronic rear differential lock, Adaptive cruise control, parking assist and tire pressure monitoring system.
