It is likely that the H2 SX 2022 will be the first Kawasaki motorcycle to be equipped with ADAS Advanced Steering Assist.
The new Kawasaki H2 SX is seen running on the road, the special feature of the H2 SX 2022 is the addition of front radar. It seems that Kawasaki is about to introduce adaptive cruise control on this model.
In 2019, Kawasaki signed a contract with Bosch to develop the ADAS Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This system includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and rear blind spot monitoring.
Currently in the world there are 3 models equipped with adaptive cruise control, namely BMW R 1250 RT, Ducati Multistrada V4 and KTM 1290 Super Adventure S.
Compared to the current H2 SX, the new H2 SX is slightly different up front. The design of the lighting cluster has been changed to accommodate the radar installation. The overall styling of the H2 SX remains the same.
H2 SX is equipped with a 998 cc supercharged engine, 4 cylinders in line, cooled by solution. This engine produces a maximum power of 197.3 hp at 11,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 137 Nm at 9,500 rpm.
