Manhart BMW X5 M Competition – 812 horsepower engine, Sportier look

Manhart has upgraded the BMW X5 M Competition High Performance SUV for a sportier look with increased power.

The M Competition is the most powerful variant of the BMW X5 (G05) with the engine specs being 617 hp and 750 Nm. However, if this SUV is still not able to satisfy the speed requirements, users can consider the MHX5 800 version made by Manhart.

Similar to other upgrades, the German tuner not only intervened in the engine to increase performance but also upgraded the interior / exterior design to make the BMW X5 M Competition more eye-catching.

Overall, the MHX5 800 version of the BMW X5 M Competition has a dark style, black main appearance with copper-gold decorative details typical of Manhart.

The front and rear bumper are newly designed to be larger, with eye-catching decorative contours. The radiator grille is completely painted black to make the car look more aggressive. In addition to the Wuppertal suspension that lowers the ground clearance by 30 mm, the front spoiler and the rear air diffuser are added to increase the aerodynamics of the SUV.

Wheels are replaced with 22 inch type 5 double spoke design. Carbon trim details appear in the air intakes on the bonnet, front bumper, rearview mirror cladding, side braces …

The 4.4L V8 twin turbocharged engine was upgraded with a larger turbocharger, installed a new cooling system and used an MHtronik ECU controller. Maximum capacity is increased to 812 horsepower, maximum torque reaches 1,080 Nm. ZF 8-speed automatic transmission is also tweaked to match this “huge” parameter.

The main change in the cabin is the dashboard area, the steering wheel is covered with carbon materials. The shift paddles are replaced with a bigger one and also made from carbon.
