The “tuners” are racing to create the most powerful Mercedes-AMG GT and it seems that Posaidon is “the winner”. The new project of the German tuner is called GT 63 RS 830+ and is built on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4Matic +.
In standard form, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4Matic + 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine produces 639 horsepower, making the AMG GT 63 S one of the fastest and most powerful cars in its class.
However, Posaidon was not satisfied with this figure, the German tuner equipped the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S with a pair of new ball-bearing turbochargers, while overhauling the intake system, engine cooling system, the top cylinder of the vehicle.
In addition, Posaidon has also optimized and expanded the intake and discharge ports, adding a water / methanol injection system that increases pressure without causing the engine to suffer higher heat loads.
The vehicle is also equipped with a new exhaust system with unique exhaust pipes and ECU software adjustment. All of the above helps the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S powerful to 940 hp and maximum torque of 1,278 Nm.
New power helps GT 63 RS 830+ accelerate from 0 – 100 km / h in just 2.8 seconds and only need 5.9 seconds to accelerate from 100 – 200 km / h. Vehicles with a maximum speed of 350 km / h. However, Posaidon’s 830+ performance package will not be sold to the German market, customers in the country can only get the most powerful GT 63 S with 830 hp and 1,100 Nm.
