The upgraded version of the Nissan Navara pickup line was seen in Thailand with a stronger appearance than the previous model.
A photo of the 2021 Nissan Navara in Thailand has just been published by Headlightmag news site. It is likely that an upgraded version of the Japanese pickup model will be released in the near future
The front end of the 2021 Navara is refined designed for a more impressive appearance. The grille is larger and more square than the previous generation, with the accentuation of chrome panels.
The fog lamp cavity is also renewed and looks similar to the Toyota Hilux equipment. The shape of the lighting clusters, rearview mirrors and the car’s shape have not changed significantly.
Some sources predict that in the new model Navara will switch from a 2.5-liter diesel engine to a 2.3-liter twin-turbocharged diesel engine similar to the Nissan Terra in Thailand. This engine has a capacity of 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque.
The 7-speed automatic transmission and the 2-wheel-drive system are expected to be maintained by the Japanese automaker on high-end Navara models. There are no information or images about the upgrades of the interior.
This is the first 3rd generation Nissan Navara (also known as NP300) upgraded since its launch in 2014. Navara NP300 chassis was used by Mercedes-Benz to build luxury pickup line X- Class.
