Porsche Boxster 25th Anniversary Edition Introducing – 2022

Based on the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, Porsche has released the Porsche Boxster 25 Years. This model is limited to 1,250 units only.

Porsche Boxster was first introduced in 1996, this model helped to revive Porsche after the events that happened in the 90s. During 1996-2003, it was Porsche’s best-selling model before the Cayenne. appear. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of this model, the German automaker has introduced the limited edition Boxster 25 Years.

The name Boxster is a combination of boxer engine block and roadster convertible design. Through four generations, Porsche has produced more than 357,000 Boxsters. Although it is based on the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, the Boxster 25 Years still features the outstanding features of the Boxster concept that was introduced at the 1993 Detroit Motor Show.

The exterior of the car is a combination of GT Silver Metallic paint and Neodyme bronze. The highlight of the car lies in the 5-spoke wheels with a size of 20 inches and the “Boxster 25” badge behind. Customers can also choose from two other exterior paint colors: Jet Black Metallic or Carrara White Metallic.

Similar to the concept on display in 1993, the Boxster 25 Years has a Bordeaux red leather interior, and the top soft top also uses red fabric with the “Boxster 25” badge embossed on the back. If you don’t like the red color, you can consider the black interior option.

In terms of power, the Boxster 25 Years uses a 4.0L naturally aspirated engine similar to the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0. This engine block produces a capacity of 394 hp and maximum torque of 420 Nm. There are 2 gearbox options: 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Vehicles capable of accelerating 0-96 km / h in 3.8 seconds.

The Porsche Boxster 25 Years is equipped with standard PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) to reduce ground clearance by 10 mm compared to the 718 Boxster, and the PASM Sport setup allows a maximum reduction of 20 mm. In addition, the car is also equipped with a PTV torque meter (Porsche Torque Vectoring) and a differential that restricts slip.
