Subaru Forester’s upgrade will be tweaked some details in the exterior, the overall design remains similar to the current generation.
Forester becomes Subaru’s best-selling model in the US market in 2020. The Japanese automaker wants to increase that success by refreshing this crossover. Kolesa’s designers relied on leaked Forester images to outline the car’s appearance.
The 2022 Subaru Forester will not have too much of a breakthrough in design. Compared to the current model, the Forester facelift 2022 has a more square-shaped grille, and the horizontal bar has been reworked to increase the standout of the Subaru badge.
The front bumper is slightly revised, wider in the corners. Fog lights still carry the old design. The central air inlets have also been made larger. On the side, decorative details are slightly changed. Overall, the new Forester still bears a resemblance to the “predecessor” generation.
The tail also doesn’t have too many upgraded details. The rear bumper has been reworked with no exhaust outlet, instead, the exhaust will be hidden underneath. This makes the Subaru Forester facelift look cleaner and smoother.
The rear bumper has been reworked, without the appearance of the exhaust outlet.
Details inside of the Subaru Forester 2022 are yet to be revealed. But maybe it will be upgraded with an infotainment system with a larger screen, improved interior materials.
The Forester’s motives are also a mystery. It is likely that the 2.5L 4-cylinder engine will be retained. In addition, experts predict the Subaru Forester facelift will have an additional 2.4L turbocharged engine, 260 horsepower capacity. The Subaru Forester facelift will be introduced in the first quarter of 2021 and will go on sale in the middle of this year.
