Suzuki Jimny is upgraded to look like the Mercedes G 500 4×4 Squared version. This accessory package starts at USD 5,700.
Since its launch in 2018, the 4th generation Suzuki Jimny has been noted to have many similarities with the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. From this factor, many upgraders have produced accessories to level Jimny up to the G-Class’s shape.
Among them, Fast Car Service Center (FCSC), a car refurbishment company in Dubai, designed an accessory package to turn the Suzuki Jimny into a G 500 4×4 Squared version.
After adding the exterior details, Jimny looks exactly like a German SUV with the identifiable features such as round lights, vertical metal grille. Other details are the turn signals located on the bonnet or the pit front bumper. Of course, the Japanese high-grounding car is much smaller when placed next to the 4×4 Squared G-Class, which is significantly larger than the standard G-Class versions.
FCSC’s accessory package has created a true “sub G-Class” version, with many upgraded details such as the front bumper, grille and bonnet. This special Suzuki is also equipped with side exhaust, windshield, rear spare tire, V8 badge and LED lighting system.
In terms of performance, the G-Class clone still uses a 1.5L K15B engine with 100 hp and 130 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Mercedes G 500 4×4 Squared has a powerful 416 horsepower M176 4.0 L V8 twin-turbocharged engine.
Although the exterior details are carefully reproduced, the luxurious interior of the 3-pointed star brand cannot be done by all units. Depending on customers, FCSC will customize the cabin with leather seats and decorative details.
FCSC’s Jimny upgrade package has a suggested price of about $ 5,700 and can increase a few hundred dollars if customers choose to add tread types or wheel recesses.
