The Smart Shine package adds extra chrome details on the exterior, giving a more premium look to the Toyota Camry 2021. These include the grille, door trim, rear bumper and rear spoiler. This package also includes 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, the Bright Elegance package can be combined with Smart Shine chrome-plated details, while the front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper are added. This variant uses 19-inch wheels, along with Yokohama Tire Advan Sport V105 tires.

If you prefer a sportier style, users can choose Toyota’s GR Parts exterior package. The appearance of the Toyota Camry looks aggressive and increases aerodynamics with a refreshed front bumper.

Toyota Camry GR Parts custom is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, along with 235/40 Goodyear EfficientGrip tires. In addition, GR also adds an efficiency damper to reduce cabin noise and vibration, improving comfort and stability when operating.

Currently, these appearance upgrades are only for the Japanese market, equivalent to the Toyota Camry TRD sold in the US. In the 8th generation, the Toyota Camry TRD has stiffer springs, shock absorbers from TRD. These improvements make the car sportier and better handling.

The downside of the Toyota Camry TRD version is that it does not change the engine performance. The car still uses a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine, with 301 horsepower capacity and 362 Nm of torque. The 2021 Toyota Camry in Japan still uses a hybrid engine consisting of a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine (176 hp / 221 Nm) and an electric motor (118 hp / 202 Nm). The total capacity of this engine system is 211 hp with fuel consumption of 4.11 liters / 100 km.
