2022 Mazda CX-60 was officially debuted, consuming only 1.5 liters of gasoline / 100 km

The Mazda CX-60 2022 is the first car equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and the most powerful commercial vehicle currently of the Japanese brand.

As planned, Mazda officially unveiled the all-new 5-seater SUV model named CX-60 in the European market. CX-60 plays an important role for the Japanese automaker because it is one of the first steps for Mazda to gradually transform and become a true luxury car brand like Lexus.

The CX-60 belongs to Mazda’s new large product line, along with the CX-70, CX-80 and CX-90. At the same time, this is also the first Mazda model to be developed on the basis of the Skyactiv Multi-Solution Scalable Architecture platform with a front, vertical engine configuration and rear-wheel drive system.

Belonging to the mid-size SUV segment, the Mazda CX-60 2022 has a length of 4,745 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, a height of 1,680 mm and a wheelbase of 2,870 mm. Compared to the elder CX-5, this model is 195 mm longer, 50 mm wider and the wheelbase has increased by 170 mm.
Mazda CX-60 2022 is significantly larger than CX-5.

Outside, the CX-60 applies the evolutionary Kodo design language with a long bonnet and a high-pitched grille. Depending on the version, the car will come with a rectangular grille or horizontal lines. Surrounding the grille is a thick chrome rim, extending to the headlights on both sides.

The headlight cluster of the Mazda CX-60 2022 is slim with 2 vertical balls, integrated with a unique “L”-shaped daytime positioning LED strip. This daytime positioning LED strip is also deeply rooted inside the grille. In addition, on the front of the car there is a triangular air vent at the two corners of the front bumper and a narrow central air cavity below.

At the back, 2022 Mazda CX-60 is equipped with a horizontal and slender taillight cluster with an “L” shape inside, making many people think of BMW cars. Below are 4 chrome exhaust pipes, evenly divided to the sides.

Stepping inside the Mazda CX-60 2022, the driver will be impressed with the elegant and luxurious design of the interior. The space inside this 5-seater SUV is a combination of maple wood, Nappa leather, chrome details and meticulous stitching, giving it a premium feel.

In front of the driver, there is a digital instrument panel with a color TFT-LCD screen, combined with a HUD steering wheel information display. According to Mazda, the CX-60’s HUD screen is three times the size of the CX-30. Besides, there is a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

And yet, this new SUV also has 2-zone automatic air conditioning with rear vents, heating in all positions, a panoramic sunroof and an optional 12-speaker Bose sound system.

In particular, the Mazda CX-60 2022 also has a Driver Personalization System with 3 functions. The first function is to use the camera in the car to detect the position of the driver’s eyes and parameters such as the driver’s height to estimate the body. The system then automatically adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel, HUD display and mirrors to suit the driver’s eye position.

The second is a function that automatically restores settings, including the driver’s seat, audio and climate control, to suit each individual when the car changes drivers. This function will be based on facial recognition and the data of more than 250 adjustments and settings stored on the vehicle. According to Mazda, the car can save the personal settings of six different people.
