2022 Rolls-Royce Koa Phantom : Takes 3 years to produce with extremely rare wood

A personalized Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended has just been completed by the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective division. This super luxury sedan is called Rolls-Royce Koa Phantom and is completed within 3 years.

The Rolls-Royce Koa Phantom 2021 was made on the order of billionaire Jack Boyd Smith Jr. with a special highlight is the interior using Koa wood – an extremely rare natural material. Koa wood grows only in Hawaii and is protected by the local government. Billionaire Smith’s idea to use Koa wood comes from a rocking chair that has been with his family for many years.

According to Rolls-Royce wood experts, it took a long time to find the right Koa wood panel for the interior of this particular Phantom. Rare and precious Koa wood decoration details appear everywhere in the cabin, from steering wheel, dashboard panel, armrests, door handles, dining table, … combined with other exclusive features such as Personalized cladding with “Hand-built in Goodwood, England, for Laura & Jack Boyd Smith Jr.” inscription (Handcrafted in Goodwood, UK for Laura and Jack Boyd Smith Jr.).

The interior of the Rolls-Royce Koa Phantom 2021 is covered with Dove Gray leather, similar to the leather on the billionaire’s 1934 Packard Twelve Coupe. Adding a special highlight to this personalized super luxury sedan is the individually laid-out ceiling with 1,420 fiber-optic lights on a navy blue leather background depicting the constellation of the Jack Boyd Smith Jr. birthday night sky.

Other striking interior details include the RR monogram on the headrests, a champagne fridge, and a pair of luxurious crystal wine glasses and jars, all handcrafted and engraved with the owner’s name.

Rolls-Royce Koa Phantom 2021 is finished in Packard Blue exterior paint, similar to the billionaire’s antique car. The hand-drawn coachline runs the length of the car in Dove Gray. The individualization of the car is also evident on the exterior of the car when the driver’s side door has the word “JBS JR.”, Short for Mr. Smith, while the passenger door with the initials of his wife is “LAS”.
