Aprilia Tuono 660 mid-size naked bike is more powerful with a high-end genuine Factory version

The high-performance Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory version is supplemented by the Italian automaker with a two-way fast gearshift system, increasing engine power, changing the gear ratio and 6-axis IMU sensor.

Less than a year after launching its first mid-size naked bike, the Tuono 660, Aprilia has officially added a new version with higher performance to this model. Specifically, this version is called Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory, similar to the high-performance versions of RSV4 and Tuono V4, with equipment additions to provide a sportier driving experience.

On Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory, the car is still equipped with a 659cc double cylinder engine block, liquid-cooled, producing 100 horsepower, 5 horsepower higher than the standard version, while the torque of the car remains at level 67 Nm at 8,500 rpm, but the torque at each band will be higher than the standard version.
In addition, Aprilia also changed the gear ratio of the car with the front fork with 16 teeth, down 1 tooth compared to the Tuono 660, while the rear sprocket remained at 43 teeth. The car’s 6-speed manual gearbox is added with a two-way quick shifter up and down, helping the driver to shift gears smoother and faster.
In addition to improving engine power, Aprilia also reduced the weight of the Tuono V4 Factory by 2kg by removing the traditional battery and replacing it with a Li-ion battery, bringing the vehicle weight down to 181kg. The Tuono 660 Factory saddle is still at 820 mm, the fuel tank capacity remains the same at 15 liters.

Suspension on Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory includes 41 mm Kayaba fork in front and Sachs monoshock at the rear. Both are adjustable for preload, compression, and responsiveness. The rims are 17-inch cast rims with 120/70 tires at the front and 180/60 at the rear. The standard brake of the car is a 320 mm double disc at the front with Brembo brake calipers, while the rear single disc has a diameter of 220 mm and Brembo brake calipers, the brake fluid pipe is a braided metal thread coating for more durability.
In the electronic system, Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory is added with a 6-axis IMU sensor to coordinate with other vehicle support systems such as traction control, front wheel stall control, and ABS brake support in crab. In addition, the two systems of engine braking control and cruise monitoring of Tuono 660 Factory can also be adjusted to many levels. The IMU sensor also supports the lighting system when it is possible to change the angle of light when cornering.
