VIDEO: This video is about BUGATTI La Voiture Noire. Residents of Molsheim have a special opportunity to admire the masterpiece that car enthusiasts around the world must “envy”, which is the extreme Bugatti La Voiture Noire.
After a long “in hiding”, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire supercar has just returned when being displayed in the Christmas market area in the city of Molsheim, France.
This is considered a special gift from Bugatti for the people of Molsheim, home of the French supercar company, in the context that Christmas activities have been canceled because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Introduced for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show 2019, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire is considered the most expensive in the world with the announcement at that time amounting to 16.7 million euros, equivalent to nearly 19 million USD.
In French, La Voiture Noire means black car, so the appearance of the hypercar is painted entirely black. This supercar was born to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the brand, as well as reminiscent of the legendary Type 57 SC Atlantic produced in the 1930s.
La Voiture Noire is based on the Bugatti Chiron supercar with an 8.0-liter W16 engine with four quad-turbo clusters. Maximum capacity parameters reach 1,479 horsepower and maximum torque at 1,600 Nm.
There have been rumors that Cristiano Ronaldo is the first owner of the Bugatti La Voiture Noire. However, this information has been rejected by the Portuguese superstar and so far the owner of the most expensive supercar in the world has not been revealed.
“Nothing can replace Molsheim Christmas market,” said Christophe Piochon, Production and Operations Manager of Bugatti. However, it is important that we bring joy to the people of the area during these difficult times ”.
