Introduced for the first time a year ago, Roma is considered the most beautiful supercar Ferrari ever built. In the US, Ferrari Roma is expected to be sold from the beginning of next year with a starting price of USD 222,630, an inherently high number for many people.
However, a mysterious figure has paid three times the amount to become the first US customer to own Roma.
In a recent online charity auction, the Ferrari Roma raked in a whopping $ 750,000 thanks to an anonymous participant. All of this money will be donated to Save The Children charity.
With Bianco Italia white paint, the special Ferrari Roma mentioned above has some details available compared to the standard version. Specifically, the exterior enhancements include a carbon fiber front spoiler, rear diffuser and sport exhaust.
The supercar is also equipped with Magneride adaptive suspension, matrix LED illumination and a set of 20-inch wheels. Inside, premium interior materials, such as Bordeaux leather, carbon fiber panels, passenger infotainment screens and Apple CarPlay connectivity support.
Powering the Ferrari Roma is a 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces a maximum capacity of 612 hp and maximum torque of 759 Nm. With an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, Ferrari’s supercar can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of more than 320 km / h.
