Honda HR-V Malaysia Introducing, adding hybrid version – 2022

New generation Honda HR-V in Malaysia will be upgraded with a number of technological features. The Honda HR-V 2021 versions all feature a 7-inch Display Audio touchscreen that connects both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Specifically, Honda Malaysia has officially introduced a new version of the urban SUV HR-V in the Malaysian market. The new Honda HR-V 2021 will be sold in E, Hybrid i-DCD, V and RS versions

In particular, the new generation of Honda HR-V will be focused on upgrading by the Japanese automaker in terms of utility equipment, design and powertrain are still similar to the old generation. In particular, the Hybrid i-DCD version received the most upgrades.

Furthermore, the Honda HR-V Sport Hybrid i-DCD variant will be equipped with LED headlights, LED fog lights and LED taillights as standard. White Orchid White Pearl will be removed from the HR-V Hybrid 2021’s palette, replacing it with Platinum White Pearl. The hybrid version also gets a new leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel.

With the interior compartment, all versions of the upgraded Honda HR-V 2021 are equipped with a new 7-inch touch screen entertainment, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, there are 2 USB charging ports in the center console area.

In terms of power, the Honda HR-V 2021 in the Malaysian market continues to use the i-VTEC 1.8L engine block, producing a maximum capacity of 140 hp at 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 172 Nm at 4,300 rpm, accompanied by a CVT gearbox.

In the Malaysian market, the Honda HR-V 2021 version E is priced at 25,727 USD, the V version is 28,058 USD and the RS version is 29,315 USD. Pricing for the Hybrid i-DCD variant has not been announced yet.
