The upcoming Hyundai Custo 7-seater MPV will be launched at the Shanghai Auto Show this April.
Photos of the commercial version of the 7-seater Hyundai Custo are suddenly revealed online, the MPV will be released to the public at the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show this month. Unfortunately, international customers who want to own a car must buy through private channels because the car is sold exclusively in the Chinese market.
From the images revealed, it can be seen that the Custo is very different from the Hyundai models sold in foreign markets, but some details still have similarities. Notably, the front grille is quite similar to the Hyundai Tucson 2022 that was launched last year. However, the headlight design is not as prominent as what Hyundai did with the Tucson.
In addition, Hyundai Custo wheel arches will be covered with black plastic to create a strong look for the car. But the wheels are only painted in simple silver although different wheel designs will also be provided. In addition, according to the information, if customers do not like the black plastic wheel arches, they can choose the same color as the body.
Going to the rear end, Hyundai Custo looks completely different from other models of the Korean brand. Especially sharp taillights with prominent long LED bars.
Very few clear images of the interior of this MPV, but pictures stolen from last year show that the car uses a 4-spoke steering wheel, a modern button-shaped gear lever like the new Hyundai models, digital instrument cluster and large entertainment screen.
The Car News China newspaper reported that Hyundai Custo will be equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine, which produces 170 horsepower and a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 236 horsepower capacity.
