New Hyundai Staria FULL REVIEW

Last week, the Hyundai Staria MPV model was officially launched after about a month of being open. It looks like a spaceship from the future but based on what we see in the photos, this car looks ready to enter the production line. Thanks to a new video from YouTube channel “Motorgraph World”, a major auto magazine in Korea, we have a more specific look at the MPV model that can hold 9 or 11 people, and see every single detail. intuitive way.

Recalling a few notable points, the Hyundai Staria is slightly larger than the new Kia Carnival, and is equipped with a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine that produces 175 hp and 431 Nm of maximum torque. 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, or a 3.5-liter gasoline engine with 8-speed automatic transmission.

The first Mari Cho guide gives us a close look at Staria’s sleek design, detailing the lighting, decorative accents, and overall look. This MPV model has a very large door that Hyundai says helps occupants connect with their surroundings. Mari says the car doors are wider than those of the Kia Carnival and Honda Odyssey. Likewise, the trunk door section is also extremely wide.

From the driver’s seat, Mari detailed each seat, digital infotainment screen, and a few other interesting decorative details. Staria has a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and and offers optional ambient light in 64 colors, and a premium Bose sound system. The seats in the car don’t seem to have much of a cushion, but the steering wheel is beautifully structured.

After exploring the 11-seater for a while, Mari Cho stepped outside to reach a 9-seater with the second row rotating across from the third row. Some Staria models also have a very comfortable reclining seat. like the new Kia Carnival. Tall people won’t have to worry about headrests in the car, and storage space won’t disappoint. However, it is difficult to feel how spacious this car is really when fully seated as shown in the video.

In the short term, the new Hyundai Staria will only be sold to a few markets such as South Korea and Australia in the second half of 2021. Therefore, this MPV model will surely make many people excited but cannot afford it.
