The electric car model from the US has had both winning and losing results against two Italian supercars.
Italian YouTuber Giovanni Fois doesn’t usually make car videos. Looking through this guy’s channel, we see that he seems to really like food. However, in a new video, Giovanni organizes an interesting drag race between Tesla Model 3 and two Italian supercars, Lamborghini Huracan Evo and Ferrari Portofino. The funny thing here is that the race is done on a section of the road in the safe driving center
In terms of specifications, the Ferrari Portofino has 612 hp and 760 Nm of torque, the Lamborghini Huracan Evo has 630 hp and 599 Nm of torque, and the Tesla Model 3 Performance has capacity of about 450 horsepower and 639 Nm of maximum torque. In the video, Giovanni says that the 0-100 km/h acceleration time for the Portofino is 3.5 seconds, for the Model 3 is 3.3 seconds, and for the Huracan Evo is 2.9 seconds.
Basically, the Ferrari Portofino didn’t have much of a chance to win. Yes, it’s fast and powerful, but it’s just a GT roadster and Ferrari’s entry-level car. That’s why it lost in both races with Model 3 and Lamborghini. However, to be fair, it has a slightly slower start than the American electric car.
Next, we see another unequal race between Model 3 and Huracan Evo because the Italian supercar can accelerate as fast as an electric car. In a previous Motor Trend test, the Huracan Evo could reach a speed of 96 km / h in just 2.5 seconds. In the first race, the two cars had the same starting point and the Model 3 lost. But in the second, the Model 3 had a slight lead at the beginning, but the Huracan Evo was able to catch up and take the overall victory.
