Under the bonnet, the IS 2021’s engine remains unchanged from its predecessor. IS 300 owns a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, producing 242 horsepower at 5,200-5,800 rpm, 350 Nm of torque at 1,650-4,000 rpm. The IS 350 uses a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 314 hp at 6,600 rpm and 380 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. Both versions come with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The IS 300h hybrid version uses a powerful 174 hp 2.5-liter petrol engine, 221 Nm of torque and a powerful 141-hp, 300-Nm electric motor. When combined, this hybrid engine produces a total output of 215 horsepower. This version is equipped with 4-wheel drive system.
