Mazda BT-50 Thailand Introducing 2021

Mazda introduced Mazda BT-50 born 2021 in Thailand. The Mazda BT-50 will have 2 diesel engine options of 1.9L and 3.0L, priced from $ 18,435 to $ 38,436.

After being announced in late 2020, the 2021 Mazda BT-50 pickup model has officially been sold in Thailand. The 3rd generation of the Mazda BT-50 was developed on the same chassis as the new Isuzu D-Max. The car has 14 versions, selling price 553,000 baht – 1,153 million baht (18,435-38,436 USD).

The 2021 Mazda BT-50 has 3 styles including standard cabin (STD), half cabin (FSC) and double cabin (DBL). All versions of the BT-50 are equipped with ABS / EBD / BA brakes and front seat airbags.

The high-end Hi-Racer models have 4-wheel drive, DSC stability control, TCS traction control, ESS automatic emergency warning light, HLA assist HDC downhill support system, reverse camera, 6 airbags and 8 front and rear sensors. DBL Hi-Racer and DBL 4×4 models will have ADAS driver assistance system with blind spot warning.

Inside, the 2021 Mazda BT-50 has a MID clock with a 4.2-inch TFT multi-information display. 4-way adjustable steering wheel, 8-way power seat, Dual Zone 2-zone air conditioning system. 8-speaker sound system, armrest with cup tray.

At the center of the dashboard is a 9-inch touch screen entertainment, with multiple Home Screen settings, wireless Apple CarPlay support and Android Auto (instant connectivity for Android 10).

In addition, users can also use Miracast wirelessly via Wifi and MirrorLink, view directions without an Internet connection.

Other amenities available on the new pickup model include smart key, remote start assist, turn on the air conditioner before boarding, and the interior light that illuminates itself when the key signal is turned on.

The 2021 Mazda BT-50 has 2 engine options. The 3.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine with 250 MPa high-pressure fuel injectors produces 190 hp of maximum power and 450 Nm of torque. The 1.9L 4-cylinder diesel engine produces 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque. These two engines have the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission.

14 versions of the 2021 Mazda BT-50 are available in 6 exterior colors, including blue, cement gray, red, black, white and silver. The standard version of the Mazda BT-50 STD 1.9 E is priced at 553,000 baht ($ 18,435), while the most advanced version is the DBL 4×4 3.0 SP AT, which costs 1,153 million baht ($ 38,436).
