Mercedes-Benz X-Class luxury pickup model has been upgraded by Carlex Design with a design inspired by motorsport.
X-Class Racing Green is the 10th upgrade project done by Carlex Design for Mercedes-Benz pickup line. The main difference in appearance is that the body-kit is made of carbon material and is inspired by racing cars.
From the bonnet, front bumper to side details are all covered with carbon, helping to create a sporty feel, while increasing the aerodynamics of the car.
As the name suggests, the X-Class Racing Green is covered with a new eye-catching emerald green paint. It is known that all materials used outside the bodywork have been through many endurance tests.
In addition, similar to many other Carlex Design products, users can find hand-crafted motifs on the painted surface if they are attentive to enhance the car’s personality and value.
Stretching from the front to the back of the car are 3 contrasting white paint stripes, the tires are also highlighted with the words “Carlex Design Racing Green”.
Inheriting the inherent value of the original X-Class, the Racing Green interior is also very impressive with a range of details covered in carbon, from the steering wheel to the dashboard.
Racing seats are decorated with blue / white stripes to create accents. The seat belt is green in color with the paintwork and some details are also painted blue.
Aside from the changes in appearance, there are no upgrades related to the car’s power. In the X250d version, the German pickup is equipped with a 2.3-liter I4 turbocharged engine with a capacity of 188 hp and 450 Nm of torque. Comes with it is a 7-speed automatic transmission and a 4×4 drive system.
Carlex Design does not currently announce the cost for this entire project. The Mercedes-Benz X-Class has been killed because of the high production costs. In Germany, the luxury pickup used to have a starting price of $ 53,927.
