Developed on the basis of Renault’s CMFA + platform, the Kiger 2021 is offered with two powertrain options. The naturally aspirated 1.0-liter engine produces 71 hp and 96 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission.

Next up is the 1.0-liter turbocharged engine, also used on Clio and Captur in Europe, producing 99 hp and 160 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, while CVT gearboxes will be available later
