This is a Bugatti Divo “Ladybug” supercar that just arrived in America. Due to its paint color value of up to $ 1 million, the car will cost at least $ 6.4 million.
A few days ago, a dealer in the US “broke the barrel” of a very special Bugatti Divo supercar. This super car is called by an intimate name Ladybug because of the red and black exterior paint like a coconut beetle.
Not only eye-catching and unique, this exterior paint color turns out to be extremely expensive. It is known that this exterior paint alone costs the owner up to $ 1 million.
Thus, with this paint color, the Bugatti Divo “Ladybug” will cost at least 6.4 million USD. The reason is that the Bugatti Divo has a starting price of up to $ 5.4 million.
Through pictures and videos posted online, it can be seen that this Bugatti Divo “Ladybug” supercar is painted red on the front half of the body. Meanwhile, the rest is painted in contrast black.
Not stopping there, this super car is also equipped with a carbon fiber body with beautiful red – black stripes. To bring the feeling of “pure tone”, the Bugatti Divo “Ladybug” supercar has a set of striking black and red wheels. Even the brake shackles behind the wheels of the supercar are painted red.
It should be added that this is one of exactly 40 Bugatti Divo super cars produced worldwide. Developed on the Bugatti Chiron, the Divo made its debut during the Pebble Beach 2018 event.
Outside, the Bugatti Divo possesses a unique appearance and is almost unrelated to the Chiron. The eye-catching highlight of the Bugatti Divo is the new front end with a larger air cavity, wider front spoiler and the headlamp cluster changed from horizontal to vertical.
And yet, Bugatti’s designers also paid special attention to the roof of Divo to create NACA wind cavity here. This combined with the special engine compartment cover will ensure the “extremely large” wind into the engine compartment and cool the “heart” W16, 8.0 liter capacity of the Bugatti Divo.
Other notable design changes of the Bugatti Divo include a larger diffuser to accommodate the 4 exhaust system. The Bugatti designers also added aerodynamic side skirts, center fish fins and new tail spoils that act as air brakes for Divo. The tail spoiler of the Bugatti Divo is 23% wider than the one on the Chiron, which greatly improves the downforce and braking performance.
Compared to the Chiron, the Bugatti Divo is 35 kg lighter thanks to the reduced weight rim and the new carbon fiber air-intake radiator cap. And yet, Bugatti also uses less sound insulation, a lighter sound system and removes the storage compartment in the central armrests and on the door to reduce the weight for Divo to 1,996 kg.
Unfortunately, the Bugatti Divo engine is still W16, 8.0 liter capacity, accompanied by 4 familiar turbochargers, creating a maximum capacity of 1,500 horsepower. However, the Divo does not have Top Speed mode like the Bugatti Chiron so the maximum speed is limited to 380 km / h.
The Bugatti accessories that are so high in price is no longer a strange thing. The Bugatti Chiron’s colorless, bare carbon fiber body shell, for example, costs $ 200,000. If equipping the entire body of bare carbon fiber for the Bugatti Chiron, the customer has to spend nearly 300,000 USD. Meanwhile, the carbon fiber exterior mirror cover will cost about $ 10,000.
