In the Yamaha MT-09 2021 version, engineers have carefully researched the below exhaust design to replace the side exhaust unit of the previous generation.
The exhaust system of a large displacement vehicle is one of the parts that are particularly interested in by the drivers because it shows the owner’s personality as well as the car’s preference for engine noise. In this Yamaha MT-09 2021 version, the engineers have carefully researched the below exhaust design to replace the side exhaust unit of the previous generation.
The redesigned exhaust pipes on the MT-09 2021 must comply with Euro 5 emissions regulations but still meet the needs of some riders. To do this, Yamaha engineers created a 3-in-1 exhaust chamber in twin exhaust styling.
This is combined with the ability to reduce engine noise, especially in gears machined with smaller tolerances. According to Euro 5, noise is also considered an emission, and this has helped reduce the overall amount of noise generated by the MT-09.
In terms of air intake, the 3 intake ducts allow the CP3 899 cc to suck air in just the right amount and create a pleasant air sound while still complying with regulations. Three straws of different lengths and diameters were inspired by a church organ.
Launched at the end of October, the Yamaha MT-09 2021 has been completely reworked over the previous model. The CP3 3-cylinder engine is currently available with a capacity of 899 cc with a capacity of 117.3 hp at 10,000 rpm and maximum torque of 93 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
Weight has been reduced from 193 kg to 189 kg, and the all-new chassis is 2.3 kg lighter than before. There’s also a color TFT-LCD panel, front and rear LED illumination, as well as an adjustable front fork.
